Pros and cons of Enigmatis: The Mists of Ravenwood - A Hidden Object Game with Hidden Objects app for iPhone and iPad

Enigmatis: The Mists of Ravenwood - A Hidden Object Game with Hidden Objects app good for

This game is about this woman who finds this girl named Becky and she says her parenets were tooken by a monster the woman thinks that is not true but then the monster comes and takes the womans truck and the camper and Becky
This is hands down by far the best Big Fish game that Ive played in a long time! The mini-games were challenging without being overly difficult, the graphics top notch, and I loved the detectives problem solving board which gave an interesting and very original twist to the game. Also, the storyline kept things interesting, as well as stayed true to the original Maple Creek plot. My only problem with this game was that it ended! (although not too soon, as it actually was a decent length). All of the BF game developers should take note of Enigmatis: Ravenwood, maybe theyd learn a thing or two about how a game should look & feel. As for the comment below; I dont understand why you would base your review by the fact that this game is optimized for sound. The fact of the matter is that the sound does enhance the game, but that wouldnt interfere with or negate a deaf persons gameplay! I could understand if the game was unplayable without it, but everything is captioned and unlike some games (Big Fish included), there arent any mini-games based on having to reply a particular tune in order to finish it. What would you suggest, would removing the sound altogether and optimizing it to be without sound work better for you? Dont get me wrong, I am far from being an audist, my mother is legally deaf. I am completely deaf in one ear, and its possible that someday itll be both ears, like my mother. I just feel that this game is perfectly fine the way it is, for both the hearing and the deaf cultures.
No lags, exceptional graphics, amazing storyline and you have hours of fun. Awesome because the full game is only 1.99 right now but soon itll probably be more so get it now before its too late. One of the best games on the App Store.
This was a fun game and story. Mini-games werent too challenging, but entertaining.
Thoroughly enjoyed the story continuation - the hogs were clever and the puzzles had me thinking. Thanks for a great game!
Im enjoying this game. Heres hoping it wont lose all my data. Would be 5* IF sound was not "needed" to enhance the experience. Because not everyone can hear, seems stupid for them to suggest otherwise. The sounds and soundtrack are hardly exceptional, but its annoying that what the voices say arent the same as the written text. Best feature is the William Shatner impersonator :) To CryBaby, I didnt bash the graphics, gameplay, mini games or cut scenes. However, when BFG claimed sound was "NEEDED," not suggested for optimization its a ridiculous demand for obvious reasons. I almost never play with sound, so I rely on the captions. But they didnt match what the characters were saying which was extremely annoying. Also, the soundtrack was very repetitive as was "Shatner," which to me, did not enhance the game past the first 15 minutes. An example of this is, "Is there anything I can help you with." I mustve heard that line 100+ times. But I kept the sound on in hopes that there would be something useful in it, but there wasnt. So, I firmly stand behind my 4* rating. Which I think is totally fair. Because as everyone knows, how can you experience "needed sound," if you cant hear??

Some bad moments

No tech issues at all. Game was enthralling and fun. Enjoyed the Monty Python "Lumberjack" reference hidden in dialog! I always love the extra hidden objects scattered throughout scenes (ie morphing objects, ethereal butterflies). All-in-all a good play.
This was an awesome game. I could hardly put my phone down. It was interesting from the beginning, so I didnt mind buying the upgrade. The only thing is that the mini games were a little too hard, I ended up skipping most of them. Apart from that. This is one of the most entertaining games I have played in a long time. Thank you.
Couldnt have asked for a better sequel to Maple Wood. Incredible graphics, story line, voice actors, etc. Im so pleased with this, especially since Big Fish games have really been letting me down lately. This brings my expectations & hopes back up. Please make a third one!
Great story and interesting puzzles make this a great HO game. Ive played lots of them and this one ranks in my top 3. I kept wanting to see how the story progressed and ended up playing longer and longer. Thats unusual for a HO game where the story is usually secondary to the puzzles. 5 Stars!
Ive been playing these types of games obsessively for the last couple of months now. I was surprised at how much I really like this one. It was cleverly planned and executed.
I enjoyed the first Enigmatis and was excited to see the second one had come out… cant wait for the third. I have to say that I think this is the best game of its kind. Ive played various other ones, but none were so well made, nor did they flow so well.
